NEW ADDITION TO THE AIRCALIN FLIGHT PROGRAM

Aircalin, New Caledonia’s international airline, continues to spread its wings with the launch of two new services: a second weekly flight to Nadi (Fiji) and Papeete (French Polynesia) and the reopening of the Noumea-Melbourne route.
Weekly frequency beginning on 6 December 2023 between Noumea (NOU), Nadi (NAN) and Papeete (PPT)
Two weekly frequencies between New Caledonia, Fiji and Tahiti
Beginning on 6 December, a new Noumea-Nadi-Papeete service will take place every Wednesday. By doubling the frequency between New Caledonia, Fiji, and French Polynesia, Aircalin gives business, family, and leisure travellers more freedom to customize the length of their stay.
An expansion of the Polynesian market to the west
In addition to the already successful Tahiti-Singapore route via Noumea, Tahitians benefit from the only direct flight to Fiji, improving access to the western pacific islands and Australia.
New route from North America to New Caledonia and the South Pacific
Thanks to its partnership agreements with Air Tahiti Nui and Fiji Airways, this new route linking Tahiti Fiji and New Caledonia will facilitate exchanges between the United States (departing from Los Angeles, San Francisco and Honolulu) and the South Pacific, offering the possibility of discovering several destinations in a single trip.

An opportunity to grow the tourism industry in New Caledonia
Melbourne, which is the second-largest city in Australia by population and serves as a hub for all of its southern Australian states, presents a significant opportunity for the growth of tourism in New Caledonia. To relaunch demand and stimulate these markets, media campaigns are planned to begin this month August. The flights will be operated by an A320neo, the airline’s second medium-haul aircraft, due to join the fleet in December.
A new direct service for the residents of New Caledonia
By reopening its line to Melbourne Aircalin is offering a new direct flight to Australia, a popular destination for the residents of New Caledonia, which was launched in 2013 and suspended in 2020 due to the health crisis. The service will run two to three times per week from 8 December.
Flights are programmed for every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday*.
